Josna Begum

This is Josna Begum. Her husband passed away ten years ago. Widdowed with two children, was forced to live in poverty. Due to her familial situation, all major financial institution rejected her loan application. However in 2017 BRAC offered Josna a 50,000 BDT loan to open a grocery shop with a tea stall. Using the profit generated from the tea shop she was able to send her son and daughter to college. Currently, she is financially well off with both of her children. She was offered a grant by Blossom Fund to continue expanding her business.
