Maya Rani Sarkar

This is Maya Rani Sarkar. She is from Ghior. Born into her impoverished family, her father father-in-law had no choice but to sell all their assets. Maya had always dreamed of opening a tailoring business. Finally, she received Her first loan from BRAC, about 5,000 BDT from the Ghior BRAC office. Although it was an initial success, Maya needed more capital to buy materials and supplies. Today, thanks to Blossom Funds, she received a grant of 40,000 BDT and has finally started making a profit. Today, the money she receives from tailoring supports her son's and daughter’s education.
