Ismot Ara

This is Ismot Ara. Her husband used to run a sanitary business. The business used to be successful. However, it became bankrupt due to COVID-19. During the pandemic, her husband became unable to work. According to her sister's advice, she was forced to take charge of the family, leading her to start a farm with ten domestic chickens. She took a loan from the BRAC office of 50,000 BDT and started another farm with 100 native chickens. Gradually, the business began to make a profit. She took another loan from BRAC and raised 400-layer chicks on the farm. Currently, her farm has 520-layer chickens.
